About Tim

“Nature is the direct expression of the divine imagination. It is the most intimate reflection of God’s sense of beauty.” – John O’Donohue

Hi, I’m Tim. I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, where my childhood was spent doing just about anything that got me outside and exploring. Some of my best memories are fishing in quiet lakes, hiking rugged trails, camping under the stars, and rock climbing in breathtaking places like the San Bernardino Mountains, Big Bear, Joshua Tree, and Yosemite. If there was an adventure to be had, I was there—whether it was swimming, surfing, snowboarding, or even the occasional hunt.

In 2007, life took me across the country to Alabama, and that’s where my love for the outdoors really expanded. Here, I dove headfirst into deer and turkey hunting, as well as dove and duck hunting. I even got into feral swine trapping—something I never imagined I’d be doing back in my California days.

My wife and I are raising three incredible kids, and we still make time for the simple joys of camping, finding new trails to hike, and visiting interesting spots we stumble across along the way. I’m also a big fan of outdoor shooting activities, from target shooting to skeet shooting.

Whether it’s in the mountains, out on the water, or deep in the woods, I’ve always believed life’s best moments happen when you step outside and explore.
